The unique feature of the workshop is that it will provide post workshop support to the participants. “People who do taxonomy need continuous support. We provide them with literature, otherwise not accessible online. We will also help them to draft project proposals and manuscripts.  We provide herbarium consultations that help them to use our specimens for further studies on Lichens. As a national facility, the herbarium and library of the institute will be open to the trainees whenever they require. They can consult us at any stage, anytime. We are here to help them” said Dr Sanjeeva Nayaka, Senior Principal Scientist, CSIR-NBRI, Lucknow.

Post Graduate students preferably in the final year or final semester in Botany, Bioinformatics, Biosciences, Biotechnology, Environmental Science, Life Sciences, Microbiology, Mycology, Plant Science or Natural Products Chemistry can apply for the workshop.
